This is the blog of OK Go. Much of it is written by their new guitarist, Andy Ross. You may call him Rusty. Poor Rusty.

OK Go's New Video Is Going To Freak You Out.
We promise. But in return, we need you to freak OK Go out. The video, for "Here It Goes Again," is in the running for VH1's Top 20 Countdown. We need you to go and vote for it. All you have to do is drag "Here It Goes Again" into the first spot. If you're feeling generous, drag Regina Spektor into the second one, because I like her new album. Then click submit. You can't watch the videos unless you have a PC. But you can vote for them no matter what.
Don't ask us why. We're as surprised as you are. Sorry to everyone who was looking forward to seeing OK Go at a mall, including the boys themselves. They're always looking for a deal on cell service, knock off sunglasses and, of course, Orange Julius.
The number of dance contest submissions has been huge. Almost as big is the number of emails from people saying they're still filming, and won't be done in time for the July 30th deadline. We're sticklers, but not bastards, so we're extending the deadline one more month. Get those videos in, though. We're not extending it again.
We're also looking into some prizes for 2nd and 3rd place. The entries are just too good.
JC Penney's new back to school ads are all over the television, and they feature a whole lot of OK Go. You can check them out at jcpenneybts.com and you can talk about how disappointed you are on our bulletin board. We don't care. Not only that, but we're playing another JC Penney/VMA show, this time in Los Angeles, at the Glendale Galleria. More details on the tour page. And check out photos from the last JC Penney/VMA show.
