"Oh No" is "In Stores"
The new album is out today! Pick it up in an actual store, or at places like iTunes and music.msn.com.

For fun, you can hear Damian talk about Oh No on NPR's All Things Considered this afternoon. While you're listening, check out a1000000ways.com if you haven't yet, as the boys are celebrating the release of the album by making it easier for you to get free music and spread the love.

Better yet, read some recent reviews and interviews (and if you find more, post them in the comments section):

E! Online, A-: "Just go buy this album already...OK?"

ign.com, 9.2: "OK Go returns to what made them great, but kicks the dial to 11 and delivers a more guitar-driven helping of pop wonderment"

Houston Chronicle, 3 1/2 stars: "...this is an album for sunny days and caffeine highs."

Dallas Observer: "The songs are sexier, fiercer and more diverse, and the production retains the energy of OK Go's live shows--an elusive feat for most bands."

Denver Westword: "OK Go is back with a sophomore release that puts its brilliant debut to shame."

allmusic.com, 4 stars: "OK Go has written an album that coats its incredibly accessible nuts and bolts with an effervescent rocket sauce, and that's just the way it is."

NY Post, 3 stars: "strong, irresistable pop 'n' roll..."

Kansas City Star interview with Tim: "One small step for bass players, one giant leap for rhythm-section kind."

altsounds.com interview with Damian: "I think the entire world of rock would be invigorated with dance wars going on."

MTV.com article: "crunchy guitar rockers 'Invincible,' 'Do What You Want' and 'It's a Disaster' mix the downtown punch of the Strokes with an ear for pop hooks."

Jim Derogatis: "too clever and way too smarmy for their own good... annoying... gag-worthy..."

Dig It Or Dis It, But Mainly Just Dig It A Bunch Of Times
Yahoo Music has set up a Dig It Or Dis It competition that puts OK Go up against four other bands. We were winning until Taking Back Sunday begged their myspace friends to put them over the edge with multiple voting. We don't like to demean ourselves with this sort of anti-democratic tactic, but dirty fightin' is dirty fightin'. So please, go to music.yahoo.com/promotions/digitdisit and vote us back on top. Vote until your trigger finger falls off, because when it comes to Digging and Dissing, there is no second place.

A Million Ways, A Million Songs
Damian and Andy are straight up geniuses. On the last tour they sat around in the back of the van, programming up with a new way to get fans to listen to "A Million Ways," which, if you haven't guessed by now, is the new OK Go single.

Here's how it works: Go to a1000000ways.com and sign up. We'll give you a free iTunes download (choose from over 1.5 million songs) when you get ten of your friends to listen to "A Million Ways". Get ten more friends to listen, and we'll give you another. Keep going until your iPod is full and we're broke.

If you do earn some song credits, may I suggest spending them on something soft and pretty and droning, like Dios or Marmoset? For upbeat, try my latest favorite, this incredible album from the one they call the Masta Ace.

Light Fuse, Run Away
Go to fuse.tv. Wade into their insanely fun-filled website, looking for a 'TV Shows' menu in the top left. Scroll down to Oven Fresh, and then vote for the A Million Ways video. It's in last place right now. Can you believe it? If it's in last place tomorrow, it'll get dropped from Fuse. And if it gets dropped from the list, it'll get really mad and take itself home and never come out to play again, because, quite frankly, it's kind of a baby. So please, for the love of everything that is good and wholesome, go vote right now.

DOWN WITH OPP*, VOL 5

This is one of three really great photographs that were taken in New York City earlier this year and posted to a Flickr page by the photographer who took them in a fit of awesome incredibleness. See them all here. And then go to IGN.com for some photos of the band at Lollapalooza and a brief little review of the set.

*Other People's Postings, of course. Email me yours with OPP in the subject line.
