OK GO get VMA advice from JC Chasez... in the crapper
Damian & Tim met JC from N'Sync in the bathroom today and got his advice on performing at the VMAs. It's pretty hilarious. Pass it around.

OK Go on Letterman Tomorrow!
That's right, dearies. The boys are on the Late Show with David Letterman tomorrow (Wednesday) night!

That makes Colbert, Letterman and the VMAs in less than a week. What could be next, you ask? Who knows? My mind is so blown that I don't even have a funny joke to put here. I'll take submissions via comment.

OK Go On The VMA's (F'N A!):
It was just announced that OK Go will be doing the Treadmill Dance on MTV's Video Music Awards. It will be ultra super glorious. Not only that, but Mr. James Cash Penney himself emailed me to say his clothing company was going to debut a new commercial with DWYW in it right after the boys perform, to be shown only once. It's like the Super Bowl, but without all the Bradshaw. And to top it off, "Here It Goes Again" has been added to ultra crazy ninja rotation at VH1 and super nutty gonzo rotation at MTV. Watch your sexyback, JT.

Vh1 Top 20 & Yahoo's Dig It Or Dis It
Somebody is flooding the ballot box at top20.vh1.com. Unfortunately, it isn't you. The boys dropped from number 9 to number 12 this week. Help get us back on track. Go to top20.vh1.com and drag "Here It Goes Again" into the top spot. Drag it a bunch of times. If every single one of you does it 1 million times, we'll break the Internet. So half a million will have to do.

And while you're exercising your right to force OK Go onto an unsuspecting public (It's in Article III. Look it up.) head over to the Dig It or Dis It poll at Yahoo Music. Here It Goes Again is currently losing to up-and-coming funk rock combo The Red Hot Chili Peppers. Let's fix that, shall we?

Damian on Colbert Report Tomorrow Night.
Damian will be a special guest on The Colbert Report tomorrow evening. It airs at 11:30pm on Comedy Central. The other guest is Gideon Yago, so you know it's going to be extra hott. Watch the show, join the nation.

The OK Go Choice Award Goes To... The Oscars!
The Teen Choice Awards are Sunday night on Fox. OK Go isn't in the running (though we heard that after last year's shutout--six nominations, no wins--Usher will finally get his due in the Hottie: Male category). So why the h-e-double hockeysticks are we bringing it up? Because they're going to show JCPenney's OK Go commercial a bunch of times. So if you haven't seen it yet, and you want to, there you go.

That ABC News Clip...
If you had trouble finding it, that's because I gave you the wrong link, silly. Try watching it here instead.
New York City On A Tuesday
The boys made a quick stop in NYC on their way to Spain, where they bought a guitar pedal, played above Times Square at 5am, and still found time to be interviewed by Hazel Sanchez for NYC's 11 O'Clock News on CBS. Watch the OK Go Interview.

Now watch two (!) separate reports on Jennifer Aniston not getting engaged today. Sorry, Jen.

Number Nine... Number Nine... Number Nine!
"Here It Goes Again" is at #9 on the Vh1 Top 20 Countdown. You think that's crazy? Check this: we're trying to take it to #1. We need your help. Please, drop whatever you're doing (unless it's nursing a baby) and go to top20.vh1.com. All you have to do is scroll down, find "Here It Goes Again" and then drag it into the #1 spot. If you're feeling fancy, drag Regina Spektor into the #2. If you're feeling super fancy, make it your homepage for the next couple of weeks so you won't forget to vote.

Good Morning America, How Are You?
The "Here It Goes Again" video was on ABC News this week. The world looks a little brighter after you've heard award winning journalist Charles Gibson refer to one of your videos as "very inventive" and "sort of a low budget affair". It's actually a pretty great piece, and totally worth watching, particularly for the subtle way they point out Tim. Watch it here.

In other ABC news, the boys have confirmed an in-studio performance on Good Morning America on Wednesday, Sept. 6th It should be a rocking affair. Set your alarm clocks and tune in, or come down to the studio to watch the boys catch up with their old friends Diane and Robin. Try for tickets here.
