OK Go On The VMA's (F'N A!):
It was just announced that OK Go will be doing the Treadmill Dance on MTV's Video Music Awards. It will be ultra super glorious. Not only that, but Mr. James Cash Penney himself emailed me to say his clothing company was going to debut a new commercial with DWYW in it right after the boys perform, to be shown only once. It's like the Super Bowl, but without all the Bradshaw. And to top it off, "Here It Goes Again" has been added to ultra crazy ninja rotation at VH1 and super nutty gonzo rotation at MTV. Watch your sexyback, JT.

all that needs to be said: one take boys, totally hard shit to pull off, very impressive. the stumble may be the best part. fuck anonymous' nonsense, clearly a bit foolish. positiveness is the way to roll.
rock on with the wicked video stuff.

Ahh! That's so awesome! I'm definitely tuning into the VMA's to see that.

BTW, I am a huge fan of Jacks Mannequin's Andrew McMahon, who basically made a blog post dedicated to your new video! Definitely read it if you get the chance... it's amazing!

Go to and select The Spots. (If that doesn't work, go to their regular B2C site and click on the Back to School part in the lower left. (That's what the "bts" part of the URL stands for.)

This video should set off a new dance /exercise craze. I was so ah striken by the performance, it made me want to go out and by 4 tread mills and recreate the performance in my own home or with friends. Simply genious at work here!!! Loved the song too.

Congrats on the VMA appearance. I believe you should of won best choreography. Anyone can hire a dance choreographer, but your video had wit and character too.

Again, congrats on all your success and wishing you more to come.

Congrats on easily making one of the best recent videos and live performances. I want to work out with you guys! :-) If I wasn't already (and I had me at "Get Over It"), I am now officially in love with you guys.

I think there will be a sharp rise in treadmill related injuries due to the hordes of young hipsters who will dust off their pumas and head to their local 24 hour fitness to attempt to copy or imitate your stellar moves.
we will see you in portland next time you are in these parts, treadmills optional.
