Screams From A Mall: OK Go in Schaumburg, IL on July 8
OK Go will be playing a 30-minute acoustic set at the Woodfield Mall in Schaumberg, IL on July 8th.  Are they busking, you ask?  No, smartass  They're rocking the JC Penney VMA Insider Contest.  Show up at the Woodfield, and not only will you get to watch Tim destroy a glockenspiel with his pure rockinzeal, but you'll be able to enter a contest to attend the MTV Video Music Awards, where not a single glockenspiel has ever been endangered.  To audition, you need to be there at 11am.  To be rocked by OK Go, show up around 3pm.  To watch a bunch of Real World and Road Rules "personalities" stop acting polite and start being real on a stage in a mall, you'll want to get there early and stay all day.  Should be fun.

Rusty, dude... gotta admit, I was pretty surprised, but also stoked when I found out you guys were going to come to Moscow, Russia!!!

But I gotta tell you, you must try and push for a seperate show - festivals are cool and all, but I (and many others) would love to catch you guys on your OWN! Try www.apelsin.ru or www.dkg.ru as possible venues!

Anyhow, looking forward to finally catching up with you all!

Peace,

Mick K.

I must admit that I am quite upset that this event is taking place in Illinois, since I live in Vegas.... I would have loved to experience the amazing-ness of the glockenspiel... but I guess you can't get everything you want....

Peace out pimpsauce,
Jeanette

Seriously, the whole thing sucked except you guys. I saw no glockenspeil endangerment, but it was still awesome. Best day of my life. Taylor and Steph are right. Those people in front of us were losers. I wanted to yell at them, "What do you think you're doing, looking bored? This is OK Go, dammit!"

I nearly died when Damian talked to me.
