OK Go Forced To Cancel Three US Shows - 6/23 to 6/25
Bad News: OK Go has been forced to pull out of the last three shows with Panic! At The Disco. The boys are incredibly sorry about this; they pulled every string they could find and did everything they possibly could, to no avail. They're really sorry to miss these shows, as the tour has been an insane amount of fun, and the gentlemen of Panic! are--and I'm quoting here--"intensely awesome to an extraordinary degree."

So, OK Go will miss the following shows:

06/23/2006 - Lake Buena Vista, FL
06/24/2006 - North Myrtle Beach, SC
06/25/2006 - Norfolk, VA

We promise we'll get the boys back there soon. And that when they come they'll bring double the rock, to make it up to you.

sorry!

While I'm sad that there's a lot of kids that will get to miss seeing this amazing band, I'm happy I at least got to see them on the 20th in Atlanta. Is this wrong to feel this way? Probably, but it's not the first time I've been wrong.

I, and my daughter, are deeply, intensely and thoroughly disappointed to find that the North Myrtle Beach show has been cancelled. We couldn't care less about Panic! At the Disco. We've been trying to see OK Go again since we first saw them more than four years ago. Now we have to drive over 200 miles to a show that we really don't care that much about anymore. (Hey, we have the lousy tickets...) I have been promoting OK Go here in (gawd-awful) North Carolina for four years now and, well, I really just want to cry. I know that sounds ridiculous but THIS SUX!!!

Well, I'm sad for the fans, but I'm so glad I didn't buy a plane ticket to VA to take my sister to the show in Norfolk as I was planning. I would have been furious if I'd paid all that money to not see OK Go.

I can't believe they couldn't perform! That makes me sad for all the other fans b/c I got to see them on the 20th in the ATL. They were amazing and the pictures and autographs I got were mucho appreciated. Hope they can come back soon b/c I would love to go see them in their own concert instead of just an opening act!

Really, really sucks. I got to see the 6/20 ATL show (I was a fan correspondant! I'm trying to get the video up as fast as possible, just having technical problems), and I must say OK Go's stage presense is a sight to be seen. I'm also majorly disappointed that a Floridian friend of mine won't get to see them at her concert. Really rough! =\

:( So, so sad you guys won't be at Myrtle Beach. We have wanted to see you guys for so long now.

We have 4 tickets for a show we won't now be attending. We were going to make the trip from NC to
SC, but not anymore.

We want to see OK GO! :(

To the person on the west coast (to quote my favorite band) - GET OVER IT!!! They played in southern California last year around September or October and if I still lived out there, I would've made the trip no matter what! North Carolina is probably one of the lowest levels of purgatory (if not a higher level of HELL) and they haven't been HERE in 4 years!!! Now, we think we'll see them in Myrtle Beach and they bail on us and go to Spain! If we didn't love 'em so, we'd never listen to them again! Alas, sometimes love can be painful...

Hey, West Coast! I hope you know I was just being whiney. I'm feeling sorry for myself, that's all. I understand what a drag it is to not get to see a really great band. I really, really understand...We didn't even bother with Panic! At the Disco. What was the point...

no okgo means no go.

I'd rather have the schow rescheduled and the original tickets honored than a refund. Either that or I'll have to wait for Panic! to really break out and then I can sell the stoopid tix on e-bay...

I bought two tickets (June 24th was my birthday) because I thought the Dresden Dolls were with them. Found out it was Hush Sound for two more days instead. Decided I liked OK Go enough to keep the tix.

Drove from NC to the concert. No OK Go. No Dresden Dolls, of course. Panic was fine, but not what I was into. Bummed. Drank with that other guy above.

Should have asked for a refund -- $25/ticket to see ONE band I only like okay. :(
