Leno Tonight. Also, 23 Now.
OK Go will be on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno this evening, performing a musical selection from their recently released (we're talking this morning) first ever full-length DVD.  The other guest is--you guessed it--Courtney Love.

Also, "Here It Goes Again" is on today's other big record release, Now That's What I Call Music! Vol. 23, if you can believe it.  So is Fergie, so...

Yay - lots of notice this time! Thank you :)

Now my question is: *Who* is the OK Go Logoman that is making me laugh so hard on the OK Go website? Great job on those clips (thumbs up here)!

Is it true you guys will be in Minneapolis 11/8? I went to college with Damien and would love to see him.

I watched you guys perform last night on the tonight show and loved the music. Reminds one of Beatles music with a little more edge. So, I found your site and checked out the lyrics in anticipation of purchasing the album, but the lyrics seem to be depressing and just enough profanity on it to think, why? I'm not trying to be disrespectful towards your work, I just think you could create a wider base of fans if you took those matters in to consideration when writing. With that said, your sound rocks......maybe I'll purchase a future album or just download singles.

I have a blog with blogspot, but don't want others sending me nasty comments because they're taking this the wrong way.

Don't depend on YouTube, buy the DVD. I just finished watching it, and it is great to see all the videos as they should be seen, at full resolution. Lots of funny new stuff too. Awesome.

This is what happens when you do things right -- the whole world (like "anon with blogspot" above) starts giving you advice (even criticism) because they care, because you've made a connection.

"Anon with Blogspot," you may have a valid point on one level, but on a deeper level, I appreciate that ok go is true to themselves instead of thinking "okay, what lyrics are going to make the sale." Yea, I had to get over some of the depressing lyrics, but then you get zen-brilliance like "it's a disaster, it's an absolute mess, but it's alright now" which is profound in its ability to embrace both the dark and the light (perhaps akin to creating art for a garbage company or trying to sell phones to people who don't want them).

Even I am infected with this desire to connect with the creative electrical awesome-ness that is ok go and give them advice (now Damien, take care of your voice - don't be like my mother who missed out on the opera role of her life because of nodes - if you're having troubles, Vitamin E is not only an anti-oxidant but will help your body with oxygen regulation -- useful for going from a low altitude to a high altitude -- and if you have trouble with coughing (smoky rooms, etc.), talk with a doctor about glutathione nebulization which sounds terrible but is another powerful antioxidant that you inhale (nebulize) into your lungs). ALL of you, you're on the fast track to fame -- pace yourself.

yeash, I am such a mother hen. bye!

(& yay! for the voting schtick - I'm holding ok go personally responsible for getting all those "deciding vote" voters into the polls)

I was at the Minneapolis concert on Wednesday, and I just want to say that you all better keep on doing what you're doing, because what you're doing is awesome. I thought Ok Go was pretty cool before the show. Now, I would cheerfully walk barefoot across state lines to see the next tour. Thanks for reminding me why I moved to a big city in the first place. Also, Damian, thanks for your failed attempt to move through the crowd, I was one of the first pair of hands to help pick you up.

Rock on, you crazy rock people.

Is there no email address on this website? Well, no one has accused me of being web-savy. I just think that treadmills are a fun thing to watch from any place, congo included, and the u.s.a. is no exception. cheerio.

Okay, I have a confession. My earlier comment about voice care in this thread was an attempt to give some supportive advice while avoiding "trance suggestions" that would make you sick.

Since I just read over at the emiforum that Damian has since been unwell, I can speak plainly.

The moment you started hopping on airplanes to travel from concert location to tv studio and back again, you exponentially stressed your respiratory system and voice.

Aside from all the normal advice for singers, you might want to take extra antioxidants to offset the recycled air on planes, drink even more water, and read this for some uncommon information -- http://www.flyana.com/full.html

You are magical and what music should be -- be well.
