I was thoroughly upset with Damian last night. He's beautiful- yes. However it seems that fame is grasping him by the throat. Last time I saw Ok Go, he wrote a letter-like autograph, and he talked to me and hugged me. He was so gracious. Last night, however, he just signed his name and he didn't even say anything. My friends made him a t-shirt, and barely thanked them for it! I know he said he was sick, but he honestly treated the new guitar tech like shit onstage (we were right in front and saw&heard him swearing at the poor guy.) I understand that he has a lot of fans and all, but I was really crushed when I realized how mortal he was. I honsetly looked up to him as sort of a hero- not affected by fame. But I guess no one is perfect.
