UK Edition, Chapter 1: If It's Not Scottish It's Crap!
Holy shit, people really DO talk funny here! Greetings from beautiful Edinburgh, Scotland. After a delirious sleep-deprived travel day, OK Go are ready to take on British Empire: well-rested, recharged and full of extremely mediocre English food. This whole driving-on-the-left-side-of-the-road thing is straight jacking my mentals. When you're used to looking to the left when crossing a street and now the cars come from the right, you're bound for some sort of hilarious maiming! Ayye shite!

This voyage is actually personally noteworthy since I am largely Scottish and British. In fact, I am direct descendant of John Howland, who came to America on the Mayflower. From the website: "During the Atlantic voyage, he was swept overboard and rescued." This seems to be my great-great-great-great-great-great-great-grandfather's most noteworthy accomplishment: falling off a fucking boat. Actually, thinking about it, this explains a lot about how I turned out.

Well, enough history for the day. Time to bring the rock.

Love,
Roooosty

Yay, rusty's back! Congrats on getting over there ok, keep spreading the gospel of Ok Go. Just a hint, if someone in England calls you a septic, don't get mad, it's short for the cockney phrase speptic tank, or yank.

Yayyy, Rusty is back! That really makes my day!!

I know what you mean about the wrong side of the street thing. I nearly got run over all the time, too when I was in the UK. Not just on the streets, but even on staircases! The worst thing is when you hear a car coming from behind you -- that REALLY messes you up.

Anyway, best of luck to you all in your UK tour. Hope nobody gets hit by a car or anything else, other than maybe some Scottish flag underwear. (Gee, underwear seems to feature pretty often in your Blog...)

Can't wait to read the rest of your hilarious observations from abroad.

Its cool that you can trace your lineage back so far, despite your heritage of falling off boats...
Anyways good luck with the tour in the UK... watch out for the roundabouts, they are evil...

Andy, no offense to Tim, but you rock the blog harder than any other member of a pop rock band.
