Dance Dance Evolution
As you should well know by now, we're going out with the Kaiser Chiefs in about a week. Not dating. Touring. What's the difference? How does one prepare?

Good question. We spent most of this time convincing Tim that he really didn't want a candy-pink, super-oversized triple-necked bass. He had a lot of strong arguments, but in the end we couldn't imagine OK Go as a 24-string band. It just didn't seem right.

At some point during the deliberations (32 hours into Tim's first filibuster, to be precise), we managed to piece together three and half minutes of choreographed goodness, nay, greatness. Ladies and gentlemen we have crafted an epic dance of unimaginable proportions. The assistant choreographer will be posting something soon, but I can tell you that it is a classic tragedy: love leads to jealousy, jealousy to anger, anger to rage, rage to anger, anger to DEATH! Dear heavens, my hands tremble at the thought.

On a personal note, I would like to point out that last Wednesday, I was the last OK Go member to become an uncle as my brother and his wife brought their lovely daughter into the world. They have decided to name her ROCK! Congratulations!

Love,
Rusty

I'm ridiculously excited to see the new dance next week in Asbury Park! It'll be my third time seeing you guys in a year, but even so, it's going to rock.

Congrats on becoming an uncle, Andy!

I just became an Aunt recently. Congrats!

Come back to Iowa/Nebraska. And why must you have shows in California in June when I am here in May. Damn you!

Iowa/Nebraska = June, July, August.
California = September and after.

Assistant choreographer? ASSISTANT CHOREOGRAPHER?!?! Watch your language, you brash, truculent, sass-mouthed urchin! Word on the street is, this tired hussy you fellows brought in was no more than some bumbling relative of one of the guys in the band... a washed-up patsy who was stumbling drunk most of the time and whose belches smelled like carp.

Hahah oh man that bass guitar is the most ridiculous I have ever seen in my life.

Oh, except your tour page, which seems to indicate you're not coming to New England! If you don't come to Boston, at least come to Providence or Portland or something! We love you here!

I saw you guys at Dickinson College last fall and instantly fell in love. Then I told everyone I know to get your CD, and then suddenly everyone on my buddy list had Ok Go lyrics in their "buddy info." It was good times.

In conclusion, come to Boston or I'll lead a riot.

And I will get all of my friends to participate in that riot! You need to come to Boston! Apparently you just don't understand...

...and that hurts me.

Tsk...when I'm not in Houston, you are. So the only way to make up for it is to come as close to Lynchburg, Virginia as humanly possible...or just come to Randolph-Macon Woman's College...please?

So...
Kaiser Chiefs are playing in New York, at Webster Hall... and ya'll just didn't feel like it?

That's cool, that's cool.

Um... whenever ya'll are in New York, I'm in Dallas. Whenever ya'll are in Dallas, I'm in New York.

I haven't seen ya'll live since 2003 and it's breaking my heart.

Could you come play my birthday party or something? Y'know, if you're not doing anything on June 1st or sometime around then.

After having seen the dance, I must say it's amazing. I can't wait for you guys to come back to the NY area so I can see you play again.

Hey Andy--

Saw Trav at SBP a couple weeks ago and he told us about the ol' tour. Congrats to you and the band; look us up when you're back in Brooklyn.
